Descriptions

 Personal News

Share something that has been happening recently for you.  It might be a place you have visited, a social event or something you have done.  Tell us all about it.  See if you can include what, where, when, who and why and speak for 1-2 minutes.  The class will have the opportunity to ask you questions also.

Current Events

Find out about a news event happening either locally, nationally or internationally that is of interest to you.  You might find something in the newspaper, on the TV news or online.  Present what you have found out to us all.  You can use the large screen if you need to.

Mystery Object

Find something interesting at home to bring along in a bag or box.  Think up 3 clues you can give us to see if we can guess what it is!

Items of Interest

This is your opportunity to bring something special from home to share with us.  It might be a favourite toy, something you have made, or anything really.  Tell us why it is special to you and explain a little bit about it.  Special items can be kept safe on the teacher’s desk.
